The only people for me are the mad ones . . .

—————————————————————————————————————————————–

Throughout our lives, we realize more and more the type of person we want to be, and the types of people we want to be surrounded by.  Sometimes these realizations match up pretty closely to our current realities . . . and sometimes these realizations open our eyes to the disconnect that is impeding our desired evolution.

Unexpectedly, I’ve found myself making some such realizations as of late.

Some of the conclusions that I’ve stumbled upon have proved rather heart-breaking, others – quite liberating.

In the end, I’m much better understanding of my own life dynamic (who I currently am, who I want to be; what I currently have, what I still want) — and therefore, much more able to really fight for and defend what needs to be fought for and defended, or to loosen my grip on those other things (certain people included) that need to be allowed to just drift out of my world in order to better embrace and live out the life I’m meant for.

I am mad to live!  . . . and thirst to be surrounded by others just as mad.

  1. I love this message, but I’m particularly crazy about the syntax of this fragment…

“and sometimes these realizations open our eyes to the disconnect that is impeding our desired evolution.”

    Makes my brain happy :)
